Our Brand

The brand name, Daon, stems from the Celtic word for human being. It is not strongly identified with any one culture, therefore it is universal. The look and the pronunciation of the word ['day-on'] is intuitive and yet it sits outside any of the major language groups. The meaning fits perfectly with the strategic direction of our brand.
